Overview

We are seeking Soccer Coaches who enjoy working with children and have a passion for the game of soccer. We are recruiting individuals who show great communication skills for people of all ages, can work individually or in a team setting and can are able to educate and foster a love for the sport in young athletes.

Duties

Perform training sessions provided that enhance players' skills, techniques, and understanding of the game. Educate players on soccer rules, strategies, and sportsmanship. Provide constructive feedback. Organize and lead practices, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all participants. Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other coaching staff Monitor player participation while encouraging commitment to the team.

Qualifications

PREFERRED: Background knowledge of soccer as a game, player, or coach PREFERRED: Background in working with children Strong communication skills Ability to educate effectively Ability to work in a team setting or individually Ability to work with youth of all ages and skill levels A love for being outdoors, sports and the passion to inspire young athletes is crucial. Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not required REQUIRED: Police Check with Vulnerable Sector

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 10 per week
