All Youth Care Worker IIs are expected to have obtained additional training and experience enabling an expanded scope of employment in order to support care in the community. Under the direction and supervision of a regulated health professional, the Youth Care Worker II provides quality emotional and physical care to child/youth and their families. The Youth Care Worker II is responsible to implement assigned aspects of a care plan, assess the impact of interventions and contribute recommendations to the care team on changes to the care plan.The Youth Care Worker II is accountable to the treatment plan developed by the treatment team and/or clinician most responsible and overseeing the care of child/youth.Hours of WorkMon-Fri 8:30-4:30.
