Community association seeking experienced youth art instructor in North Central Calgary for Fall classesThe Thorncliffe Greenview Community Association is seeking an experienced art instructor to teach youth art classes for kids ages 5 - 15. Program to begin in early October 2022. 1 - 3 one-hour classes on Sunday afternoons.The successful candidate will be an experienced art instructor familiar with youth instruction and artistic fundamentals, specializing in youth-oriented mediums and programming.Tentative program structure: 3 small, 1-hour classes on Sunday afternoon will be open to kids in 3 age groups, 5 - 12. The instructor will work with our programming coordinator to create the class structure and curriculum. Successful candidate must be prepared to submit a synopsis of what the program will consist of upon employment.Program viability is dependent on adequate registration numbers. Classes will take place in our facility in a dedicated space. Students will be given a list of materials to provide for the class.Rate of pay is up to $50 per hour for the duration of the programming, dependent on teaching experience.Contract length: 2 months with extension based on success of classesPart-time hours: 1-3 classes per weekApplication deadline: Sept. 1, 2022Expected start date: Oct. 2, 2022Job Types: Part-time, contractWage: up to $50.00 per hourPolice check required for successful candidate.Job Type: Part-time
