Legendary Group is a leader in prefabricated timber frame home construction and is looking to grow its team. Our innovative approach to custom-built prefab homes combines the best of conventional building methods with a prefabricated panelized building system and post and beam construction. We are looking for someone reliable and hardworking to assist our prefab team.

We currently have an opening for a Driver/Shipper Receiver/Material Handler. We are looking for a reliable team player who is looking for a long-term career and willing to be an integral part of the production and installation teams, ensuring we delivery a quality product to our customers.

Shipping/Receiving:

Sort and manage the flow of all material as it enters and leaves the yard Receive inbound shipments. Unload deliveries, verify materials against packing slips, note any damage, or discrepancies, provide packing slips to front office, and store material in appropriate locations. Prepare outbound shipments & deliveries: Package and load materials/products, fasten the load securely, and prepare packing slips if necessary

Yard/Material Handling:

Keep yard and material organized and tidy Pick and prepare raw materials for production, such as timber for upcoming projects and lumber for wall and roof construction. Prepare and/or help remove finished product from shop and place for storage in the yard, or load to trucks/trailers Ensure finished materials are safe, secure, and protected in while in yard - i.e. shrink wrapped, tarped, properly braced, etc. Help with production and /or material prep i.e. Plane timbers, sand timbers, stain timbers, etc. Load and secure finished products from yard onto trucks/trailers Perform equipment and vehicle checks as required Keep fluids and fuel checked and topped up in vehicles and equipment

Shop:

Organize and maintain the supply room Order materials and supplies as necessary

Delivery and Install:

Deliver home packages with truck and trailer Help with installs when needed on-site Help unload trailer at the job site Deliver other materials where needed

Equipment Maintenance:

Preformed weekly service checklist Service Equipment Check fluids weekly Grease Monthly Fill Diesel Weekly Minor Repairs & Other Req Maintenance

Miscellaneous Projects/Duties

Welding:

Fabricate 24' Trailer Various other fabrication projects Sorting lumbar/material Organizing yard Making bunks for wall panels in the yard Storage for trailers Clean & Paint trailers as needed Power wash equipment
Additional Duties - during winter/slower months (or when needed)

Snow Removal- clean organized Yard/Shop/Shelters Service equipment Misc. projects as noted above Cut Plane/Sand timbers Other duties as assigned within the scope of work.
The wage will be determine based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.94-$27.58 per hour
