About the Role

Our client, a leading real estate investment and property management company, is seeking an experienced Yardi Consultant to support the setup, configuration, and rollout of the Yardi Commercial module.


This project-based role is ideal for a Yardi expert who thrives in system implementation environments and can collaborate with accounting and operations teams to design efficient workflows and reporting structures from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the configuration and deployment of the Yardi Commercial module, including CAM/TMI recovery, lease abstraction, and operating cost reconciliations. Collaborate with accounting, IT, and operations teams to build scalable accounting processes. Develop and align the chart of accounts, financial reporting templates, and monthly close processes. Validate data integrity and ensure successful integration with existing Yardi environments. Provide documentation, user training, and post-implementation support. Recommend process improvements and best practices for system optimization.

Qualifications

5+ years of Yardi experience, with direct hands-on expertise in Commercial or Retail modules (configuration and implementation). Proven experience leading or supporting Yardi system rollouts or integrations. Strong understanding of CAM/TMI recoveries, lease accounting, and property management workflows. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, index/match). Excellent communication and documentation skills. * CPA designation or background in property accounting is an asset but not required.
