Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Porter to join our team. As a Porter, you will be responsible for assisting with various duties to ensure the smooth operation of our facility. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

- Operate forklift to move materials, inventory and equipment as needed

- Assist with building maintenance tasks

- Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading trucks

- Operate heavy equipment, such as pallet jacks

- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment

- Package products according to specifications

- Fabricate materials as required

- Keep yard and warehouse organized and up to date

Qualifications:

- Previous experience operating a forklift is preferred

- Strong ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with team members

- Proficient in shipping and receiving procedures

- Ability to load and unload heavy equipment safely

- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
