Rentco Equipment Ltd. is a fast-paced local company that has been servicing Grande Prairie and the Peace Country for 60 years. We provide construction, oilfield, and homeowner equipment and consumables in the area. We are looking for a full-time Yard Hand/General Labourer to join our Dawson Creek team.

As the Yard Hand, you are responsible for:

• Assisting with the loading, testing, and servicing of a vast equipment line that includes bobcats, loaders, generators, man-lifts. etc.
• Assisting customers with loading and unloading their rentals
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the yard and shop
• Notifying Supervisor of any equipment defects

You have the following skills and experience:

• General knowledge of construction and oilfield equipment
• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to work as a member of team
• Ability to provide excellent customer service

You have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• General knowledge of construction and oilfield equipment
• Mechanical experience is an asset
• Hardworking team player
• Customer service skills
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to work with your hands and lift heavy objects
• Ability to work while wearing PPE required including steel-toed boots and safety glasses
