Turtleford & District Co-op is hiring a full-time Yard Attendant at our location in Maidstone, SK. Who we are: Co-op does business differently. • Provide exceptional member service with a positive, professional approach and attitude toward customers
• Assist in loading and unloading freight as needed
• Be aware of surroundings such as other drivers, people, animals, and items in the yard where you will load and offload product
• Ensure the safe transfer of material being shipped including proper cargo securement
• Operate and maintain all equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
• Be responsible for proper storage of a variety of materials
• Maintain a neat, clean and orderly location at all times by using good housekeeping standards
• Adhere to all Turtleford & District Co-op policies and procedures and participate in the Health and Safety program, including wearing all the required PPE

• You have good organizational skills and great time management
• You have the ability to work independently in a team environment
• Having a Class 3 license would be an asset
• Having previous retail experience would be an asset
• You have the ability to work outside in varying weather conditions
• You have previous lumber, hardware, and agricultural or HABS experience
• You have working knowledge of hardware, home centre, farm/agricultural products and building supplies
• You have the ability to handle multiple demands at once while still providing excellent customer service
• You have a sense of urgency
• You have a commitment to cooperative values and principles
• You have the ability to lift up to 50Ibs unassisted
• You\xe2\x80\x99re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do
• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives
