Duties:
Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
Teach English Creative Writing skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening, while integrating literature and cultural studies.
Assess student progress through various evaluation methods, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration.
Organize extracurricular activities related to English language arts, such as book clubs or writing workshops.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive educational community.
Stay updated on best practices in education and participate in professional development opportunities.
Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field is required; a teaching certification is preferred.
Previous teaching experience in an educational setting is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage students of varying ages and backgrounds.
Proficiency in using technology and digital tools for teaching purposes.
A passion for literature and the ability to inspire students through creative teaching methods.
Experience in developing curriculum materials is a plus.
