LinkedKey is an enrichment and enhancement after-school program in the GTA. Currently, we have four locations: our headquarters in Mississauga, as well as locations in North York, Markham and Montreal. We provide training programs in Communication, STEM, and Standard Test & College Prep to prepare students to impact and lead tomorrow's world.
In the Communication category, courses include Debate, Model United Nations, Public Speaking, Mock Trial, DECA, English Literature, and Essay Writing.
Our STEM category offers courses such as Math Contests for grades 4-12, Math Curriculum for grades 9-12, Science for grades 9-10, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Programming.
In the Standard Test & College Prep category, courses include SSAT, SAT, IB Courses, and AP Courses.
We encourage students to compete in various competitions and contests in Canada, US and around the globe.
Position:
Math Teacher
Location:
LinkedKey Mississauga Campus, North York Campus or Markham Campus
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement innovative and hands-on math curriculum for students from G4-12
Design and deliver engaging lessons, activities, and projects that make math relevant and enjoyable.
Provide individualized support and guidance to students to help them achieve their academic goals.
Assess student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback and adjust instruction as needed to support their growth.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective curriculum and instructional practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or above in Mathematics, Education, or related field
Must have attended middle or high school in Canada and be familiar with the Canadian curriculum.
Candidates with knowledge or experience in academic competitions will be given priority.
Previous teaching experience and Singapore Math Teaching Experience is preferred, preferably in a similar enrichment or extra-curricular setting.
Strong knowledge of mathematics curriculum and instructional strategies.
Deep understanding of math concepts and ability to communicate them effectively to students.
Creativity and enthusiasm for developing engaging learning experiences.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Experience with inquiry-based and student-centered teaching methods is a plus.
