Working Production Supervisor - Metal Stamping Experience Required

About the Role

Precision Stamping Group is hiring a

hands-on, working Production Supervisor

to lead our shop floor team. This role is not for someone behind a desk--

we need a leader who's on the floor, in the action, and leading by example

.

You

must

have direct experience in a metal stamping environment.

Applicants without metal stamping experience will not be considered.

What You'll Do

Lead and participate in daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and output targets Motivate, train, and support production team members across shifts Monitor part quality and ensure conformance to specs throughout all stages Actively promote and enforce OHSA-compliant safety protocols Troubleshoot line issues in real time and coordinate solutions Work closely with maintenance, quality, and scheduling teams to minimize downtime Track key production metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives Participate in daily Gemba walks, tool changeovers, and hands-on press work if needed

What You Bring

Mandatory: Proven experience in a metal stamping environment

2+ years' experience in a leadership/supervisory role within a manufacturing setting Strong floor presence--comfortable operating machinery and solving issues hands-on Knowledge of press operations, die setup, and safety lockout/tagout procedures Excellent people management, communication, and conflict resolution skills Strong understanding of production workflows and quality systems Comfortable using production tracking tools (ERP/MES systems) Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or 5S practices is an asset Flexibility to work multiple shifts or extended hours as required

Pay: $27.00-$31.00 per hour
