Candidates who require accommodation during the selection process are invited to contact .Qualifications:\xc2\xb7 Education Required:\xc2\xa7 Completion of relevant College Technical/Vocational Training.\xc2\xa7 Mobile Crane Operator with a Class 1 ticket.\xc2\xa7 Overhead Travelling Crane Operator endorsement.\xc2\xb7 Experience:\xc2\xa7 4+ years applicable crane and/or rigging work experience required.\xc2\xa7 2+ years supervisory experience.\xc2\xa7 5+ years Marine/Industrial work experience considered an asset.\xc2\xb7 Applicants should have a proven record of managing work in a safe and efficient manner.\xc2\xb7 Experience mentoring, training and/or coaching.\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\xc2\xb7 Proficient with Computers. Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, Kronos, Aviva considered an asset.\xc2\xb7 Problem solving skills and ability to lead and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).Key Responsibilities:\xc2\xb7 Supervise, co-ordinate, and assign work activities to multi-skilled crew of unionized trades team members.\xc2\xb7 Ensure work is progressing safely, efficiently, and correctly in accordance with ship build schedule.\xc2\xb7 Co-ordinate scheduled and unscheduled work activities with other units within the production assembly hall.\xc2\xb7 Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.\xc2\xb7 Train crew members in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.\xc2\xb7 Performance Manage assigned crew members.\xc2\xb7 Complete daily time entry for assigned crew members.\xc2\xb7 Prepare production and other reports.\xc2\xb7 Ensure compliance with all Company Environmental, Health and Safety policies.\xc2\xb7 Ensure strict adherence to Company quality procedures and policies.What We Offer:
