Responsibilities

Lead and actively work alongside crews on

grade beams, walls, and flatwork

. Use

SiteDocs

for safety documentation and

Workforce app

for time tracking. Set forms, install rebar/embeds, oversee pours, and finish concrete to specifications. Mentor and train crew members through

hands-on guidance

. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately. Ensure work meets ECS standards for

quality and safety

. Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and suppliers to maintain schedule.

Travel to out-of-town projects as required (travel costs paid; room and subsistence provided).

Available to work

weekends

when necessary. Enforce compliance with

OH&S, WCB, and company safety programs

.
Requirements

Journeyman Trade Ticket

OR minimum

5+ years leading a crew

in concrete. Valid

driver's license

and

reliable means of transportation

. Ability to obtain

clearance for sites requiring background checks

. WHMIS, CSTS-20, First Aid, and Fall Arrest certifications required. Additional tickets (Confined Space, H2S, Ground Disturbance) considered assets. Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to make

informed, independent decisions

on site. Physically fit, safety-minded, and willing to work in varying site conditions. Must be

willing and able to travel

for work.
Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Wage:

$42.00 - $47.00/hour (based on experience).

6% vacation pay + 3.6% stat holiday pay

$50 monthly phone allowance
