Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Superintendent to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Assistant Superintendent will collaborate closely with all team members.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing all aspects of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Oversee site operations, including supervising labor crews to ensure efficient workflow. Work with crews to complete required tasks. A well rounded background and the ability to perform most all tasks in the concrete trade is mandatory. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to schematics and blueprints. Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, contracts, and construction estimating processes. Implement OSHA safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel. Facilitate communication between various teams, addressing any issues that arise promptly. Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily reports and change orders.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction management or a related field with a strong understanding of construction processes. Strong knowledge of project scheduling techniques and tools. Experience in reading blueprints, schematics, and conducting quality control assessments. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets effectively while ensuring project timelines are met. Previous supervisory experience in a construction setting is preferred. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices on construction sites is essential. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
