Job Description
Norfort Gymnastics Association of: 8208 Fraser Ave, Fort McMurray, AB, T9H 1W8, is currently looking to hire a full-time Women's Coach, to primarily coach in our Xcel and recreational programs. Our Club has started and is continuing to grow and we are looking for a passionate, and skilled coach to join our team.
Start
date
: Immediately or, as soon as possible.Terms
of Employment
:Terms of Employment: A 5 or 6 day 35-40 hour / week position with minimum 30 hours coaching. Travel to weekend competitions over the season. A 35-40 hour weekly schedule will mostly consist of mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
Needs to be familiar with concepts, procedures, and the code of the Xcel Women's Artistic Gymnastics program. Candidates must be able to demonstrate they have coached and mentored gymnasts and have a want to continue their learning process.
Qualifications:
-Minimum NCCP WAG Comp 1 Certification, and Comp 2 in progress or willingness to obtain.
-NCCP Level 1 trampoline certification or willingness to obtain.
-Standard First-Aid & CPR or willingness to obtain.
-Making Ethical Decisions and Respect in Sport Certificates.
-Basic Administrative Skills (daily email communications, program planning, etc)

-Able to approach coaching of individual gymnasts with a "whole person" outlook.
-Strong problem-solving skills in a fluid environment.
-Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.

Pay: From $28.84 per hour
