We are a friendly, inclusive gymnastics club offering recreational classes for children of all ages and abilities. We focus on building skills, confidence, and a love for movement in a safe and positive environment. We're currently seeking a
to join our team on a flexible, part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a background in gymnastics, be Foundations Trained, and have a love for teaching young athletes the fundamentals of the sport. This role involves fostering a positive and encouraging environment where gymnasts can develop their skills, confidence, and love for gymnastics.
Duties
Instruct and coach gymnasts of various skill levels, focusing on technique, safety, and performance.
Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to athletes to enhance their skills.
Organize and lead practice sessions, ensuring that all activities are engaging and educational.
Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude among all participants.
Ensure the gym environment is safe and well-maintained at all times.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
Collaborate with other coaches to create a cohesive training program.
Qualifications
Previous experience in gymnastics coaching
Strong teaching skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
A commitment to promoting safety and well-being in all training activities.
Certification in CPR/First Aid
