The Wok Cook is well versed in the art of authentic Asian cuisine. The Wok Cook will prepare authentic Asian food and coach/mentor cooks on proper wok cooking techniques.

Adhering to Alberta Sanitation Code and standards and Steritech food safety protocol
Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area
HACCP and strict adherence to temperature control, portion control, and waste control.
Working in a fast paced, warm kitchen environment, with knives and sharp mechanical equipment
Following the directives of the Chef and Sous Chef
Training other cooks as assigned on proper wok cooking techniques
Following recipes consistently
Product rotation and labeling
General cleanup maintenance of the kitchen area and cooler/freezer area.
Requirements
----------------
At least 18 years of age.
Able to maintain a security clearance.
Must be able to work during the week and weekends, and will be required to work late into the evening (up to 2am)
Work in a fast paced environment
Previous experience is an asset.

Must be able to lift a maximum of 25-50 lbs. using proper lifting techniques
Must be able to stand for prolong period of time
Operate hot cooking equipment

Must be able to work in a fast-paced working environment
Manual dexterity, preparing vegetables, meat and other food items
