Tasks

Recommend measures to improve productivity Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality Oversee safety of operations Prepare and submit reports Set up machines and equipment Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies Write maintenance reports Troubleshoot and locate faults Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems Troubleshoot electrical or mechanical systems failures Supervise technical and support staff Project management Operate off-road vehicles Maintain inventory of equipment Ensure health and safety regulations are followed Complete reports to record problems and work performed Verify accuracy and completeness of data Troubleshoot problems related to equipment Hire, train and supervise staff Drive well service or wireline truck to well site Explain procedures Establish operational procedures Coordinate work activities to ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets Assemble mechanical equipment
