About the Role:



We are seeking a Field Supervisor to support our operations. Based out of Edmonton, this position requires frequent travel to worksites and client locations. The Field Supervisor is responsible for managing safety processes and ensuring regulatory and procedural compliance across field operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining operational readiness and efficiency while upholding the highest safety standards.

Head Office: Edmonton, AB | Travel Required (Up to 60%)



Reports To: Operations Manager
Schedule: Monday-Friday with rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities:



Perform initial and ongoing safety and operational site assessments to identify hazards and ensure readiness. Regularly assess drivers for compliance with safety protocols and performance standards. Act as the first responder to field incidents, coordinating emergency response, managing on-site safety, and completing incident documentation. Monitor field activities to ensure adherence to company safety procedures and all applicable regulations (e.g., TDG, H2S, Hours of Service). Inspect trucks, trailers, and related equipment to verify safe, compliant, and functional conditions; report and follow up on deficiencies. Accurately manage reports and records for site assessments, audits, incidents, and personnel evaluations. Serve as the key point of contact between field personnel, dispatch, and clients to ensure clear communication and smooth operations. Support Field Operations by identifying issues, recommending improvements, and helping ensure operational efficiency and readiness. Adjust priorities and tasks to meet evolving operational demands, weather conditions, or emergency situations.

Requirements & Qualifications:



Minimum 18 years of age with a valid Class 5 driver's license (Class 1 preferred) Prior experience in field safety, supervision, or incident response Strong knowledge of TDG, First Aid, H2S, CSO, and relevant regulations Familiarity with Hours of Service (Provincial and Federal) standards Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Axon, Motive, TitanGPS an asset Exceptional organizational, communication (written and verbal), and problem-solving skills Industry familiarity with oilfield material/product transport

Preferred Assets:



Class 1 driving experience Driver evaluation or supervision background Customer relationship management experience Certifications in Drug & Alcohol Awareness and Fatigue Management

Work hours will vary depending on operational needs.

Travel Requirements:



This position requires frequent travel (up to 60%) to various job sites. Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required. Occasional overnight stays are required.

Physical Requirements:



The physical demands described below must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. This position will be physically demanding at times and involves working in a safety-sensitive environment.

Work in extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet/damp) and on uneven surfaces Environments may include dangerous, remote, or urban/rural job sites Walk long distances over uneven terrain while maintaining balance Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Regularly push/pull with forces up to 50 lbs Regularly grasp, hold, and turn objects with up to 50 lbs of force Frequently bend, crouch, kneel, stand, and sit for extended periods While seated, frequently turn head 180 to both sides Work around loud noise and heavy, moving equipment
