Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting various types of feed safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills.

This position will cover the Winter Months but no guarantee of work for the summer months at this moment.

Duties

Operate commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload feed, utilizing forklift equipment as necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation and safety standards. Adhere to Hours of Service Regulations and maintain and Electronic Log Book accurately. Perform basic automotive repair and maintenance on the vehicle when needed. Operate heavy equipment as required for specific loads or job sites.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License). 2 years driving experience is required. Familiarity with freight handling and logistics processes is preferred. Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment is a plus. Basic knowledge of automotive repair is beneficial for maintaining vehicle performance. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must be able to work legally in Canda
Position is located in Diamond City, Alberta
MUST have 2 years truck driving experience and a clean Drivers Abstract
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.67-$35.91 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 60 per week
