Vaughan Paving Ltd. is well established company that has been around for over 35 years. We are currently looking for bobcat operator for the current winter season. All Position are standby based and require 24/7 availability. Compensation reflected in 2 parts, a guaranteed daily fix standby amount as well and an hourly rate when we get called out.
Bobcat operator's
key responsibilities include clearing bus stops and intersections during snow events. Operators need to be able to meet the 90min call out time, read and understand a route map and be fully comfortable operating a bobcat (with CASE controls). Bobcats will be traveling city streets and working around bus stops, poles and other vehicles on the road, pedestrians etc. 2-3 years bobcat experience is required.
All positions are standby based and require 24/7 availability. Compensation reflected in 2 parts, a guaranteed daily fix standby amount as well and an hourly rate when we get called out. Workers will have 90minutes (minimum) from time of call to be on the job and working. DEPENDABILITY is a requirement as workers will need to be available for days, nights and weekends.
