YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:
Your Contribution:
As an Intern reporting to the Electrical Engineer, you'll be integrated into the Energy and Infrastructure Department and collaborate closely with other Departments of the operation. Your role will involve ensuring the achievement of set goals and objectives while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle's culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and environmental values.Support the Electrical/Instrumentation Coordinator and Electrical Engineer in the project execution;
Create, modify all of the electrical distribution and instrumentation drawings;
Ensure the engineering standard for labeling equipment and drawings with proper locations;
Help to develop all electrical & instrumentation projects such as Underground, Process plant, Power Plant and Site services.
Support the UG and Surface Electrical crew;
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
What You Need To Succeed:
Enrolled in a University degree program in Electrical, Mechatronics or related field;
Project management skills would be an asset;
Previous experience in mining is advantageous.
Experience working in a multicultural environment is beneficial.
Proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport within teams.
Note that the official working language at Meadowbank Complex is English.Your Work Schedule:Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days for transportation and rest;
Accommodation and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
