Job SummaryPlease note: This posting is for a 4-month Winter 2025 STUDENT placement with a start date of January 2025 and end-date of April 2025. In order to be eligible for this 4-month Student position, you must either:

  • Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of April 2025; or
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in December 2024/April 2025), but you require the work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
Please ensure that you meet these eligibility requirements before applying - candidates who apply but are found to be ineligible are not able to be considered.What is the opportunity?As a Communications Analyst with the Fraud Management Communications team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll play a role in helping manage the administrative and operational execution of a wide variety of communications projects. You will work closely with the Fraud Communications team to contribute, problem solve, manage workflow, and execute strategies. You will also contribute towards the execution of the national 2025 Fraud Prevention month campaign, raising awareness and education to clients and employees on how to spot, identify and prevent fraud.
The ideal candidate is detail oriented, proactive, client-centric and looking to join a fast-paced team.What will you do?
  • Gain insight and perspective into the financial services industry by sourcing and developing interesting and engaging content for Fraud Management\xe2\x80\x99s internal and external channels
  • Leverage your creativity and innovative thinking by contributing to the planning and delivery of employee engagement activities, including: leadership calls, town-halls, leadership forums, roundtables and other events
  • Hone-in on your writing skills through storytelling by producing content for internal communications support.
  • Create/write effective communications and videos, including presentations, surveys, speaker\xe2\x80\x99s notes, video scripts and executive messages, and assist in coordinating events
  • Support the overall effectiveness of internal communications by ensuring timely and effective sharing of information, and collaborate across Fraud Management to support employee engagement initiatives
  • Support the planning and execution of the annual Fraud Prevention Month National Campaign and stay up to date with current events and fraud related news or trends
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members, stakeholders and business partners
  • Contribute to the success of the overall goals of the Fraud Management Team

  • Communications, PR, Media Relations or Journalism educational studies in progress
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills (fast-paced environment)

Nice-to-have
  • Previous Corporate Communications/Public Relations experience
