As a Window Treatments Salesperson at Randall's Decorating Centre, you will specialize in selling custom window treatments through in-home and in-store consultations. Leveraging provided sales leads, you will guide clients through the selection of custom made blinds, shades, shutters, and drapery, delivering tailored solutions that meet their aesthetic and functional needs. This role requires a proven track record in decor industry sales, deep knowledge of the decor industry, and expertise in window treatments to uphold Randall's legacy of excellence.
Conduct in-home consultations to assess client needs for custom window treatments, including blinds, shades, shutters, and drapery.
Utilize company-provided sales leads to engage prospective clients and convert inquiries into sales.
Provide expert recommendations on window treatment products from leading brands such as Hunter Douglas, Shade-O-Matic, Altex, and Maxxmar.
Perform precise window measurements to ensure accurate product specifications and seamless installations.
Develop customized design proposals that align with client preferences, budgets, and timelines.
Drive sales to meet or exceed targets, leveraging your expertise to close deals during consultations.
Collaborate with in-store teams and installation specialists to ensure a cohesive customer experience.
Maintain accurate client records, follow up on leads, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Stay informed on industry trends, product innovations, and supplier offerings through ongoing training.
Contribute to showroom displays to showcase Randall's premium window treatment offerings.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
At least 2 years of experience in the decor industry, with specific expertise in selling custom window treatments (e.g., blinds, shades, shutters, drapery).
Strong knowledge of window treatment products, fabrics, and brands such as Hunter Douglas or similar.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and long-term client relationships.
Ability to perform precise measurements and understand technical product specifications.
Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for in-home consultations.
Car allowance will be provided
Proficiency in basic computer tools for client management, order processing, and CRM systems.
Creative problem-solving skills with a keen eye for design and attention to detail.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to accommodate client schedules.
Post-secondary education in interior design, decorating, or a related field is an asset but not required if window treatment sales is evident.
