Window Covering Sales Consultant

(Full Time Hours Guaranteed)

At E.G. Penner Building Centres Ltd., a COR Certified supplier, we strive to be the premier building, home improvement and design centre in Southeastern Manitoba.

We have an opportunity for an ambitious, dedicated sales and customer service professional to join our Window Covering Department.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills by presenting products and services to customers in a manner that provides them with window covering solutions and benefits. This includes preparing estimates, in-house consultations, measures and arranging installations. In addition, you will assist in the merchandising of product.

Skills and Qualifications:

Previous sales experience and knowledge of window covering materials and the construction industry are definite assets. Training is provided.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to detail, strong time management and organizational skills.

Ability to provide professional and courteous assistance to customers and work well in a team environment.

Communicate with the department team and clients to develop and maintain an effective rapport.
