Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing windows in residential buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, contributing to the enhancement of building aesthetics and energy efficiency.

Duties

Measure window openings accurately and prepare surfaces for installation Use hand tools such as drills, levels, and caulking guns to install windows securely Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure proper placement and specifications Remove old windows and prepare the site for new installations Seal windows with caulking to ensure weatherproofing and energy efficiency Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly

Requirements

Proven experience in window installation or related construction fields, such as carpentry or renovations, is preferred but not required Proficiency with hand tools and construction equipment Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Knowledge of other construction systems or trades is preferred but not required Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various environmental conditions Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team Valid driver's license with a clean history is required. A Class 3 license with an air endorsement or a heavy trailer endorsement is a bonus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 55 per week
