Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabrication, assembly, and welding, with a strong understanding of blueprint reading and mechanical principles. This role involves working on custom window projects, utilizing various tools and techniques to produce high-quality products that meet industry standards. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on precision craftsmanship and manufacturing excellence.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication of window components. Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized machinery such as press brake machines, plasma cutters, and sheet metal equipment. Perform welding tasks including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and welding to join metal components securely. Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances. Cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal, ductwork, and other materials according to specifications. Utilize rigging and crane operations for lifting and positioning large or heavy materials safely. Follow ASME codes & standards during fabrication processes to ensure safety and quality compliance. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols related to construction site practices. Assist with machining, pipe threading, soldering, and assembly tasks as needed for project completion. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction site work or manufacturing environments involving fabrication or assembly. Skilled in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, plasma cutting, and welding techniques. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, forklift trucks, and machining equipment safely. Mechanical knowledge related to ductwork, pipe threading, soldering, rigging, and general fabrication processes. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise fabrication work. Strong understanding of safety standards including ASME codes & standards. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. This role is integral to producing high-quality window products through skilled craftsmanship and adherence to industry standards.
