Job Summary


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Window and Door Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing windows and doors across various residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets safety standards, quality expectations, and client specifications. Responsibilities



Measure openings accurately using blueprint reading, schematics, and mechanical knowledge to ensure proper fitment of windows and doors. Prepare installation sites by framing, metal stud framing, or remodeling as needed, ensuring structural integrity before installation. Install a variety of window and door units, including glass panels, frames, trim carpentry, and fixtures using hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and fabrication skills. Perform heavy lifting safely to transport and position heavy window units or door assemblies on-site. Hang doors securely using door hanging techniques; install locks, hardware, and security fixtures to ensure proper functionality. Seal installations with caulking to prevent air or water infiltration; apply trim carpentry for aesthetic finishing touches. Conduct electrical work related to fixture installation or electrical experience when required for integrated systems. Read blueprints and schematics meticulously to follow project specifications accurately. Use locksmithing skills when necessary to install or adjust locking mechanisms for enhanced security. Complete all tasks adhering to safety protocols while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with team members such as carpenters, remodelers, or maintenance person specialists to coordinate tasks efficiently. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly after each project phase. Must have own hand tools Must have a reliable means of transportation.

Experience


Candidates should possess prior construction site experience with a focus on window and door installation or related fields such as remodeling or carpentry. Demonstrated proficiency in handling hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication processes is essential. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, metal stud framing, trim carpentry, fixture installation, cabinet installation, locksmithing techniques, caulking application, remodeling projects, electrical systems integration, and mechanical knowledge will set you apart. Physical capability for heavy lifting is required; candidates must be comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces as needed. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 30 months

Pay: $17.76-$36.41 per hour
