Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window/Door Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and restoring windows and doors in residential and commercial buildings. This role requires proficiency with hand tools, carpentry, blueprint reading, and various construction techniques. The successful applicant will contribute to high-quality installations that meet safety standards and client specifications, ensuring customer satisfaction and project success.

Responsibilities



Measure and assess installation sites to determine the appropriate window or door specifications Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation Prepare openings by framing, caulking, and sealing to ensure proper fit and insulation Install windows and doors using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment with precision Perform restoration work including construction painting, caulking, and sealing to enhance durability Conduct plumbing or welding tasks as needed for specialized installations or repairs Install flooring or tile laying around window/door areas when required Follow safety protocols throughout all phases of installation and repair work Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high quality standards

Qualifications



Proven experience with hand tools, carpentry, blueprint reading, caulking, schematics, restoration, construction painting, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, or tile laying is preferred Knowledge of construction safety procedures and building codes Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environmental conditions Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety and quality assurance Prior experience in window or door installation is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
