ENERCON has currently over 2 400 MW of installed capacity throughout eight provinces and territories in Canada. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure compliance with ENERCON standards, policies and health and safety program.
  • Act as ENERCON\'s trusted representative on site and manage visitor and subcontractor personnel.
  • Oversee all site activities (e.g., safe work environment, troubleshooting, maintenance, supervision of turbine technicians).
  • Manage site employees (e.g., performance evaluation, disciplinary actions, overtime approval, supervision of high wind days vs. employee overtime bank, on-call weekend work schedules, etc.).
  • Coordinate weekly work plan and long-range labor plan.
  • Ensure achievement of wind farm performance goals and monitor site budget.
  • Maintain performance indicator reports on the status of the wind turbines on site and ensure compliance with the contractual agreement with the customer.
  • Coordinate and execute special projects to optimize wind turbine maintenance operations.
  • Control inventory and procurement of equipment and materials.
  • Maintain service fleet inventory and manage vehicle maintenance.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 5-10 years of management experience, including 3 years in field operations management.
  • Proven experience motivating, collaborating and leading a team.
  • Experience in change management
  • Analytical and technical minded individual
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in wind turbine maintenance is an asset
  • Proficiency in wind farm management tools (e.g. SCADA, ClickSchedule, MAM, SAP) is an asset.
