WILLS & ESTATES LEGAL ASSISTANT We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Legal Assistant specializing in Wills and Estate matters to join our dynamic team in Abbotsford. The successful candidate will support our lawyers in providing top-notch legal services to our clients, ensuring efficient workflow and exceptional client care. Qualifications:
Diploma or certificate in Legal Administration Assistant or Paralegal
Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Legal Administrative Assistant or Paralegal in Wills and Estates
Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of British Columbia\xe2\x80\x99s estate planning laws and procedures is an asset
Professionalism, confidentiality, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service
Responsibilities:
Assist lawyers in drafting, proofreading, and finalizing estate planning documents, wills, trusts, and power of attorney forms
Manage and organize client files, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation
Liaise with clients, schedule appointments, and maintain communication to address inquiries and provide updates on file progress
Conduct legal research and compile information relevant to estate planning and administration
Prepare and file legal documents with relevant authorities and courts
Assist in the preparation of probate applications and estate administration tasks
Perform general administrative tasks
CORPORATE OFFICE ASSISTANT Our office is seeking a proactive and organized Office Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to our corporate department. No LAA certificate required. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
