Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Wide Format Print Production Manager to lead our printing and finishing operations. In this role, you will oversee the production team, ensuring quality and efficiency in all wide format printing processes. Your leadership will be key in maintaining high production standards, managing workflow, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the daily operations of the wide format print production team, including roll-to-roll and flatbed printing and digital cutting. Oversee the ripping of files for output and ensure jobs meet specifications outlined in the production docket and production grids. Manage the finishing and packaging processes for all jobs prior to shipping. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand customer requirements and assist in project execution. Maintain high standards of quality control across all production stages. Train and mentor staff on equipment operation, printing techniques, and best practices for efficiency. Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of all equipment and work areas, and coordinate repairs with service technicians as needed. Analyse production metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity and profitability. Clearly and concisely communicate capacities and be able to pipeline future workloads. Managing stock and inventory, adoption of new and innovative products as well as maintaining relationships with the vendor base.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in wide format printing and finishing, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role. Proficient in operating roll-to-roll and flatbed printers, as well as graphic cutters (Kongsberg) and laser engravers/cutters. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in file ripping software (Caldera, Onyx), and design software (Illustrator, Photoshop). Knowledge of Mac and PC environments. Previous experience in marketing or sign/display industry is preferred.
Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self-starter with strong motivation; able to work independently with minimal supervision. Capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. Detail-oriented and quality-conscious. Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Benefits:

Pay: $75,000.00 + per year, with overtime pay available. Casual dress & company events. Dental care, extended health care, vision care. Flexible schedule and on-site parking. Paid time off.
Schedule:

8-hour shifts, evening shifts, holidays, and weekends as needed.
