About Cantex Distribution Inc:



Cantex Distribution Inc. is a wholesale distribution company in Niagara Falls, ON, specializing in the importation and distribution of linen and textile products to several industries (including institutional and commercial clients). We are a small, tight-knit team that handles complex orders, customization, and long-term customer relationships.

This role is

not

a generic call-centre or receptionist position. It involves detailed order processing, coordination with our warehouse and production teams, and management of custom embroidery/printing projects.

Role Summary:



The Wholesale Order & Customization Coordinator is responsible for:

Providing day-to-day customer service to our wholesale and institutional clients Accurately entering and managing orders (including custom items) Coordinating with warehouse, embroidery, and tailoring staff to move orders through production Preparing simple design mockups and artwork files for custom orders Assisting with basic product content and graphics for online channels (e.g., Amazon listings, email graphics, simple social media assets)
It's a detail-oriented position that requires strong follow-through, comfort with systems, and an interest in both customer service and basic design work.

Key Responsibilities:



Customer Service & Order Administration

Receive and respond to phone calls and emails from customers in a professional, courteous manner Take messages and follow up with clients as required Enter customer orders into the system with a high degree of accuracy Generate invoices and other customer documentation as needed Communicate with customers regarding order details, lead times, and any required clarifications or approvals
Order Coordination & Internal Communication

Collaborate closely with warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment Coordinate with embroidery and tailoring staff regarding customization details, timelines, and any special instructions Track the status of custom and standard orders and ensure nothing falls through the cracks
Custom Orders & Basic Design Work

Manage the flow of customization orders (embroidery and printing) from initial customer inquiry to final approval Use Photoshop and Illustrator for minor photo editing, basic design work, and preparation of artwork files Use Barudan or Wilcom for simple digitizing tasks (training can be provided on the specific software) Create clear, visually straightforward design mockups for custom orders to present to clients for approval Prepare simple tech packs or specification documents for product and custom designs
Showroom & Presentation

Maintain the appearance and organization of the showroom (light cleaning, tidying, product presentation) Assist walk-in customers in the showroom as needed (answering product questions, showing samples, etc.)

Required Skills & Experience



College or university education is required, preferably in a related field (business, administration, marketing, design, or similar) Previous experience in an office setting in an administrative, customer service, or marketing role Comfortable providing professional customer service by phone and email (B2B experience is an asset) Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for: Minor photo editing Creating simple graphics Customizing designs for client mockups Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order entry and documentation Solid written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple orders and deadlines at once Basic comfort with spreadsheets, email, and general office software

Preferred / Nice-to-Have



Experience with social media content creation, scheduling, or basic email marketing tools Familiarity with linen and textile products or related industries (hospitality, healthcare, correctional, etc.) Basic understanding of SEO principles for product/website content Experience with Amazon product listings (creating or updating listings, images, and product details) French speaking is an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
