Position Overview
As a Wholesale Account Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing wholesale liquor accounts, providing expert consultation to customers, and managing special orders. Your primary goal is to maintain and expand relationships with wholesale clients, ensuring their needs are met while maximizing sales and revenue in the liquor industry. In this role, you will report to the Manager of Harvest Wholesale, working collaboratively to drive growth and customer satisfaction.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Account Management
Maintain strong relationships with wholesale liquor clients, including bars, restaurants, liquor stores, and other retailers, upselling & building sales base.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, needs, and concerns.
Where applicable onboard new customers to Harvest Beer Wine & Spirits Wholesale
Wholesale Order Support
Receive and process wholesale orders from assigned accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Work closely with the operations team to coordinate order fulfillment and on-time delivery.
Review & report on sales growth, listing changes and inventory stresses. Identify customer needs vs our in-stock position & engage Category Team alongside Manager, Harvest Wholesale to support customer service.
Customer Sales Consultation
Provide expert consultation to clients on liquor product selection, pricing, and market trends.
Conduct product outreach to showcase new offerings and educate clients on their value.
Assist clients in optimizing their liquor selections to meet their unique business goals.
Sales Growth and Reporting
Develop and implement strategies to grow sales within assigned accounts.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to identify opportunities for expansion.
Generate regular reports on account performance, sales growth, and customer satisfaction.
Managing Special Orders
Handle special orders from assigned accounts, working with Category Team to fulfill unique requests.
Qualifications & Essential Skills
Strong knowledge of liquor products, brands, and industry trends.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage orders, contracts, and client relationships effectively.
Proficiency using inventory management tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
Experience
Proven track record of successful account management and meeting sales targets within the beverage alcohol industry.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or equivalent experience.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday based on 40 hours per week.
Some evening and weekend work may be necessary to accommodate client schedules and special events.
Working Environment
This role primarily operates in an office environment but may require occasional travel to visit clients, attend industry events, or meet with suppliers.
