The Wholesale Account Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the wholesale sales team. This role helps manage wholesale customer accounts, supports order processing, maintains accurate records, assists with inventory coordination, and ensures timely communication between the company and its wholesale clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with processing and tracking wholesale orders from entry to delivery
Maintain and update customer account information in internal systems
Communicate with wholesale clients regarding order status, delivery updates, and product availability
Support the sales team with preparation of pricing lists, line sheets, and promotional materials
Liaise with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
Generate sales reports and analyze order trends for management
Help manage stock levels and coordinate restocking based on client demand
Assist with invoicing, billing, and resolving account discrepancies
Prepare and organize samples for clients and trade shows as needed
Provide general administrative support to the wholesale department
Qualifications and Skills:
Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Sales, or related field preferred
1-2 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or account management (wholesale or retail preferred)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP or inventory systems is an asset
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Customer-focused attitude with problem-solving abilities
Working Conditions:
Office-based role with occasional travel to warehouses or trade events
Standard business hours, with flexibility during peak order times or events
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.50-$19.00 per hour
