Are you ready for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity to join our Customer Experience Group as our Payment Operations Specialist!

Position Summary
Responsible for analyzing and processing special handling payments. Reconcile and scan daily payments to depository financial institution with a zero variance within a specified timeframe. Cancel and re-issue outstanding refund payments. Assist and manage the relationship with the outsource business partners. Work with internal & external business partners to resolve payment inquiries and issues. Assist in developing recommendations to solve problems and issues related to business operations and communicates with other departments as necessary.

You Will:

• Review, analyze and process special handling payments associated with Commodity and Non-Commodity receivables.
• Determine payment path and work with third party vendor to process where applicable.
• Partner with accounting to support miscellaneous payments and receive G/L information for booking.
• Create daily payment files and work with Specialist, Payment Operations to upload into SAP.
• Reconcile and scan daily payments to depository financial institution for SAP and non-SAP items with a zero variance within specified timeframe.
• Research and analyze refund payments by determining status.
• Collaborate with the Energy Assistance team to review potential refunds to state agencies.
• Communicate and respond to Customer Service inquiries regarding payments to depository financial institution.
• Analyze business processes and workflows with the objective continuous improvement.
• Monitor, measure, and providing feedback on process performance.
• Provides support by creating metrics and reports related to payments.
• Ensures that processes are configured to support continued customer experience improvement and changing business needs.
• Collaborates with other business units to evaluate functionality and processes to solve business problems.
• Aid Specialist, Payment Operations and outsource business partners with payment investigations.
• Resolve or seek assistance for panini machine issues.
• May perform special projects upon request.

You Have:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in business Finance, statistics, or related quantitative field preferred
• 3+ Years analytical experience in a business environment required
• Experience working with business information systems, including SAP, Peoplesoft, Oracle or similar.
• Experience querying from applications.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data and to identify relevant issues in solving business problems.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex messages, both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences at all organization levels.
• Proven ability to use computer software and applications, including Microsoft Office, to share, retrieve, research and present business information.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully handle daily deadlines and multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise discretion when making business decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and effective working relationships with business partners, supervisors and peers.
