Position Overview


Based in Vancouver, the Western Canada Account Manager is responsible for driving sales growth by expanding existing accounts, opening new business, and executing in-store strategies. With a clear goal to double sales in the first year, this high-impact role is ideal for a driven, self-motivated sales professional who excels at building relationships, spotting opportunities, and is passionate about health.

What to Expect



In-store focus

: You will be

in stores on average 4 days per week

, meeting and presenting to buyers, supporting merchandising, education, and relationship building with retail staff.

Remote work

: 1 day per week for travel, calls and connecting with remote retailers, planning, reporting.

Key Responsibilities



Leadership & Strategy



Represent VITALITY and collaborate with the President to exceed sales targets. Work with President to develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans for key and independent accounts including promos and setting demos and demos reps.

Business Development



Prospect and build new retail and distributor accounts across Western Canada with a focus on BC (Lower Mainland) and AB Develop account-specific growth strategies and promotional plans. Identify and address gaps with current and new clients to drive growth. Onboard new accounts to meet sales goals.

Client Relationship & Account Management



Act as the main point of contact for assigned retail and distributor accounts. Conduct regular store visits (4 days/week) for order taking, merchandising, buyer/staff meetings, training, and demos (some evenings/weekends required). Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts including Whole Foods, Nature's Fare, Calgary Coop, Choices, Vita Health and more. Grow account sales through increased order size and frequency. Use demo budget strategically to drive awareness and sell-through. Build and adapt travel to meet with accounts throughout the region including market visits to Alberta, Vancouver Island and Interior BC once every 2-3 months or as required, and semi-annual market visits to Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Sales Performance & Reporting



Analyze sales data, identify growth opportunities, and implement action plans. Report regularly on account performance, activities, and market insights. Track daily activities and results using CRM tools. Meet or exceed defined KPIs and sales objectives.

Team & Collaboration



Communicate actively with leadership and cross-functional teams. Partner with national distributor (Purity Life) to support and grow accounts. Work with marketing, admin, and accounting to support retailer needs and resolve issues. Participate in team calls, trade shows, and share insights to support company growth.

Established experience of 5+ years in CPG, natural health and sales Enjoy building warm relationships, sharing knowledge and growing in a long-term position Strive to deliver results with a track record of proven success in sales and account growth Established connections with natural health retailers in Western Canada Strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills Proficiency in using sales reporting tools and CRM Driven, resourceful, and entrepreneurial mindset Thrives working independently and on the road (must have car + driver's license) Committed to building long-term relationships and delivering on customer needs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
