Apex Oilfield Services is a privately owned company providing rental equipment, service, and support to the energy industry. As the largest, privately owned wellsite accommodations and solids control providers in Western Canada, we are currently seeking a Wellsite Service Technician for our Whitecourt Branch. The Wellsite Service Technician is responsible for the service, repair, and maintenance of the Apex wellsite fleet. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the art of carpentry or mechanics and will be electrically inclined and enjoy working their hands. Our Value Proposition

Responsibilities Include:

• Servicing and maintaining wellsite units with a high standard of quality and safety
• Troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing any items found to be deficient
• Shipping of wellsite trailers in a ready to work condition
• Receiving wellsite trailers from the field into the yard
• Communicating any damage to dispatch
• Providing relevant information to the dispatch team
• Draining wellsite\'s and ensuring cleanliness satisfactory
• Assisting with maintaining the proper parts inventory (via: maintenance sheets, work orders, P.O.#\xe2\x80\x99s, inventory sheets)
• Responsible for appropriate truck maintenance and maintaining sufficient inventory in truck

• Ability to effectively manage conflicting tasks and changing priorities
• Mechanical aptitude
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to train, learn and acquire new skills
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, satellites, and/or electronics
• Oilfield service experience is considered an asset
• Desire and ability to perform physical requirements of the job and work in a drug and alcohol-free environment
• A clean Class 5 License
