Job Description

The working weld supervisor is to monitor weld operations at the floor level while performing regular manufacturing duties. This is anticipated to be a 50% work 50% weld supervisor. The objective is to improve quality, efficiency and reduce rework at the source to improve production throughput by minimizing error.

Must have a strong knowledge of Welding to CWB standards.

All certifications must be kept current. (preference goes to applicants with existing certificate)

Fill out all QC paperwork completely in full as required.

Ensuring all welding wire, rods and other consumables are appropriate for the job before use.

Must wear all required PPE and follow all safety policies and procedures.

Must be able to work independently, stay on task, be efficient and adhere to time sensitive schedules.

Have a high skill level with a proven track record of high quality and on time task completion.

Effective verbal and listening communications skills.

Strong writing and reading skills.

Attention to detail and time management skills.

Personable in dealing with coworkers and supervisors.

Must participate in audits, procedure qualifications and testing.

Must be willing to train and coach.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $79,000.00-$81,000.00 per year
