Job Description

WestCorp Solutions is seeking two experienced Welding Execution Supervisors to support an upcoming turnaround project in the Regina area. These individuals will act as the client's representatives in the field, ensuring all contractor welding activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, codes, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and monitor day-to-day welding activities performed by contractor crews during the turnaround. Ensure compliance with all site safety procedures, welding codes, and project quality requirements. Identify and report substandard welding techniques, safety violations, or workmanship concerns. Collaborate with QA/QC inspectors and construction management to resolve field quality issues. Review and verify completion of welds against drawings, isometrics, and documentation. Participate in daily execution meetings and provide progress updates to turnaround leadership. Support work permitting, hot work coordination, and job site readiness. Maintain clear communication between client supervision and contractor welding leads.

Qualifications

Journeyman Welder (Red Seal preferred) with 10+ years of industrial experience. Proven background as a Lead Hand, Foreman, or Welding Coordinator on major maintenance or turnaround projects. Strong knowledge of welding procedures, materials, and QA/QC processes. Ability to assess weld quality and identify improper techniques in real time. Excellent communication and leadership skills in multi-contractor environments. Experience in heavy industrial, petrochemical, or similar facilities is an asset. Valid safety certifications (Requirements TBD)
