Job Description

Super Save Group is looking to hire full-time welders to join our team. Multiple positions are available. This position does not require a welding certification, but prior experience is required.

This position is 100% in our weld shop, no travel is required.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications. Repair worn or damaged parts of our company bins and construction fencing. Testing the weld for cracks, defects, or porosity. Cleaning and maintaining welding equipment. Liaising with teams and supervisors to get equipment and material back in service in time to meet company needs. Promptly report any incidents and complete all necessary documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures. Adhere to company Health and Safety Program standards and follow all safe operating practices.

What you bring:

At least 6+ months of MIG welding experience is required. Necessary skills to prepare surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and cutting as needed. Physically fit and able to safely lift 50-70 lbs. throughout the day. Work well in a team setting and as an individual. Ability to follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Good ability to communicate in English.

There are currently two shifts available, from 7:00AM -6:00PM, Monday to Thursday and Tuesday to Friday. Each day includes 3x15 minute breaks and 1x30 minute break.

Rates are broken into two groups, bin rate and production rate. Bin rate is a flat rate of $21.77 with no ticket and $24.07 with C ticket for full time with proficient welding skills. Production rate is $19.71 plus piece work.

Welders with their C tickets can have their hours logged and credited for their future certifications.

Random drug testing is required, including testing for marijuana.
