PRODUCTION LINE WELDER

Duties

Cut aluminum and/or steel materials as required, or utilize pre-cut materials for loading into fixtures. Weld trailer frames and assemblies using cut sheets, production drawings and/or engineering drawings. Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions. Assess welded surfaces & structures for quality and to identify errors. Maintain task & process efficiencies per production scheduling guidelines. Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature, and maintain welding equipment. Advise supervisor of any performance or safety issues with area or equipment. Follow safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes. Assist with trailer assembly as required. Identify and advise supervisor of any potential task or process improvements Clean up work area regularly.

Requirements

Previous welding training or experience is required. Possibility of shift work.

Pay: $20.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
