Overview

We are seeking a skilled

Welder with Brazing Experience for one of our clients in Mississauga. The ideal candidate will have expertise in welding and brazing processes, ensuring high-quality metal fabrication and repairs. This role involves reading blueprints, preparing materials, and using various welding techniques to assemble and repair metal components.

It is an

afternoon shift from 3:30pm to 11pm

, regular Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

:

Perform welding and brazing operations on various metals, including steel, aluminum, and copper alloys. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to determine project requirements. Set up, operate, and maintain welding and brazing equipment, ensuring proper calibration. Inspect and test welded joints and brazed components to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. Use gas, MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques as required. Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of protective equipment and workplace best practices. Repair and maintain metal structures, components, and tools as needed. Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and other team members to ensure efficient workflow. Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience as a welder with brazing expertise*.
Proficiency in MIG, TIG, arc welding, and gas brazing*.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols. Strong understanding of metallurgy and heat treatment processes. Knowledge of welding and brazing safety standards (OSHA, AWS, or similar). Experience with welding and cutting tools, including torches, grinders, and plasma cutters. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work. Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments.

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
