Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role. Candidate/s will be responsible for performing day-to-day welding tasks (Mig Gun). The position entails working with various materials to create, repair and maintain custom projects. The ideal candidate/s will read and interpret blueprints, ensure weld meets quality standard and collaborate with our manufacturing team for continuous improvement.

Term:

Permanent Full time; 44-hour work week with overtime as required

Wages:

$18.00 to 23.00 to commensurate with experience

Qualification

Proficiency in Mig welding Experience in material handling Ability to read blueprints and interpret basic dimensions Strong attention to detail Commitment to safety standards Strong communication and teamwork skills Completion of a welding certification program or equivalent experience Forklift Lic/Exp an asset Experience with fabrication processes including machining, plasma cutting, and soldering. Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and material estimates.

Key Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing welding environment; however willing to train the right candidate with the right work ethic Attention to Detail - Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow quality control procedures to ensure consistent paint finishes. Physical Stamina - Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for extended periods of time and lifting up to 50 pounds; ability to perform strenuous repetitive work Ability to wear protective clothing for an entire shift Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to work safely. Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other departments to ensure production goals are met. Time Management - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet production deadlines. Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed to meet production demands.
