Brouwer Kesmac is a manufacturer of Turf Equipment, both heavy equipment and light equipment, located in Keswick Ontario. We are a full manufacturing facility from fabrication of sub assemblies, welding and paint, to complete sod harvesters and other turf machinery. We are looking for a

Welder

for our expanding production that are reliable, take pride in their work and are interested in learning and developing new skills in a niche industry.

Role and Responsibilities

Under occasional supervision of management:

MIG Welding Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawing specifications, manuals and processes Grinding, measuring and cutting of material Operate hoisting and lifting equipment Clean work areas and equipment Work in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations and company rules, policies and procedures.

Requirements:

3-5 years previous experience welding Punctual and Reliable Organized and tidy Strong work ethic Takes pride in their work A valid driver's Licence Communication and team work

Working Conditions

Normal working conditions for a manufacturing environment. Work involves standing, walking, carrying, stooping, crouching, sitting, grasping and reaching and repetitive tasks. May require lifting, pulling and/or pushing up to 50lbs. Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment including but not limited to, steel toe footwear, eye, ear and hand protection.
