We are looking for a motivated

Welder

to join our team at our shop in Delta, BC.

Shift Schedule:

Monday - Thursday 3:30 PM - 1:30 AM

Requirements:

3 years' experience in structural steel welding Have own basic tools and equipment Able to read drawings Excellent communication skills CWB welding ticket FCAW

Responsibilities:

Rig, hoist and move materials with a crane to storage areas or within shop on the horses

Set welding tools and equipment according to the parameters listed in the welding procedure

Secure and fasten structural component using clamps, braces

Welding of miscellaneous steel and large structural members.

Carry out post welding treatment of structures by cleaning, buffing and polishing finished welds when required

Follow quality control measures.

Basic torch cutting of plate and angle.

Air Arc Gouging on steel members.

Preparing and welding Complete Penetration Joints

Examine welds, parts or final products for quality assurance
