Overview
Contracting company in the Huntsville area is seeking a welder/fabricator and site supervisor for dock building. Duties would include mostly working on steel frame docks, some machine repair, custom fabrication and some structural steel work in building projects as well as supervising a small crew.
CWB certifications for flat, horizontal and vertical welds required.
There will be inside and outside work, and much of it will be around water. The applicants should also have a basic knowledge of building construction and be able to read blueprints and use these to layout dock and boathouse structures. Ability to operate heavy machinery is a plus. Need to be a self-starter with an ability to think on the fly. Wages based on experience. Monday to Friday full time work.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
