Job Description

Deluxe Metal Fabrication Inc is a manufacturer of precision metal fabrication parts. We are in Chilliwack, BC, and

currently looking for

experienced welder to join our team and work safe in efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

- Weld and fabricate metal parts using a variety of welding machines and techniques

- Perform consistent quality welds on different gauge of Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminum,

- Grinding and preparing material for welding and machining

- Follow blueprints to meet product specifications

- Calculate material measurements to verify specifications

- Demonstrate safe work practices and procedures

- Use and maintain tools and equipment

- Use and maintain material handling and safety equipment

- Work safely and accurately while following a strict production schedule

- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

- Minimum 2 years of experience with steel, stainless steel and aluminum is required.

- Must be familiar with all welding tools and procedures

- Must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of welding processes, tool selection criteria, metal characteristics, safety standards, and quality control

- Must be able to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings

- Must be detail-oriented, hard-working, and comfortable with hands-on work

- Able to work individually or as a team, with minimal supervision

- Team player, driven and committed to the success of the company

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

- Must have reliable transportation

- Must be eligible to work in Canada

Work Schedule

Shift is full-time, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. Morning shift.

Payment will be negotiated based on skills and experience.
