Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. Mechanic experience an asset. This job is installing rocker panels and frame repairs on cars and light trucks. Light bodywork is required in this position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various welding techniques. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques on various materials. Assemble metal components and structures according to blueprints and specifications. Operate hand tools, plasma cutting equipment, and press brake machines to shape and cut materials. Fabricate ductwork and other metal parts as required for projects. Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure structural integrity and quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines effectively.

Experience

Proven experience in welding, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles. Familiarity with hand tools, machining processes, and rigging practices is preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Experience with ductwork fabrication is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Willingness to continuously learn new techniques and improve skills in the field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
