Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality specifications.

Responsibilities

Perform welding tasks using MIG and TIG processes on various materials. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively to complete tasks. Conduct rigging operations safely when lifting heavy materials using cranes or forklifts. Operate press brake machines for bending metal components as required. Perform plasma cutting for precise metal shaping. Assemble components according to specifications while ensuring structural integrity. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

Proven experience in welding within a manufacturing or construction environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate machinery such as forklifts and cranes. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. Familiarity with machining processes and the use of calipers for measurements. Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements and material requirements. Experience in ductwork fabrication is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
